“GPO” stands for “Group Purchasing Organization.” GPO's aggregate the purchasing power of their members to negotiate better pricing on manufacturer products and services.  Thus, GPO members get access to pricing that would be unattainable for any individual practice.

What types of contracts are available under the ECCO GPO Program?

ECCO provides its members with discounts in multiple categories including:

1. Medical-Surgical Supplies & Equipment

2. Pharmaceuticals

3. Office Supplies & Equipment

4. Employee Services (i.e. cell phone discounts)

What are my obligations if I join ECCO?

Answer:  

None!  Joining ECCO is 100% FREE with no obligations.

Question:

Does my practice have to be a Henry Schein customer?

Answer:

Yes.  Henry Schein, as ECCO’s exclusive distribution partner, is the only distributor that can access ECCO contracts and tier levels.   This exclusivity creates efficiencies that ensure our members always access the most competitive contracts available.  Your practice can still purchase from other distributors, but those distributors will not have access to ECCO's contracts.
